“dress” up

i adore dresses, especially one that exudes femininity and display an air of sassiness, yet not make me feel overdress whenever am in one. So with spring/summer 2011 bringing maxi dresses trend back onto the runway, am happy to step out in style in this breezy and comfy maxi, choosing neutral shades of soft nude and ash grey over loud prints and dazzling colours. Was all at ease matching it with this chic, simple sandals which could be replaced with a pair of gladiators if i wanted a funkier appeal. Loves how the dress up prepared me for the outing – calming and relaxing, with me having a cup of coffee at spinelli overlooking orchard road. Definitely a good way to shake off days of gloominess in me and allowing me to start the brand new week on a delightful note.
