i admire people who live by this philosophy of “work hard and play hard”, and learn to do the same. my life may seem imbalanced from this perspective and to equate the two in terms of time allocation is almost impossible. instead i choose to indulge fully in each of the task at hand, giving a hundred percent of me, work or play. hence with jan being a hectic month, we took off after CNY to an island off the coast of Lombok. for a period of 7 days, i was tucked away from the wired up world, to an island where high rise buildings are of non-existence, and roads are made of mud paths and uneven concrete pavements, just enjoying the nature, the tranquility and breathing in air free from pollution, made possible with motorized vehicles banned on the island. with my mind uncluttered, and my body rested, I return refreshed and charged up, ready to give the best of me at work…that’s how I enjoy living and hoping time will slow down a little at times, if it only could…
